I have mentioned before that I am absolutely besotted with stationery! My desk at work is covered with various items that I have collected over the years, and Philippa (my Revolting General Manager) often gets little gifts of rude sticky notes or hilarious paper clips when I am feeling generous. Well, breaking news is that my all-time FAVOURITE “Knock Knock” items are now available at your local Look & Listen store and no longer need to be ordered online!

  I think we so often overlook the importance of great underwear, and I don’t mean for wooing a man or making our clothes fit the way they should, but for feeling great about ourselves.  A great set of lingerie under your favourite dress can mean the difference between getting the job or...   Arts on Main, and its fabulous Sunday market - Market on Main, has to be one of the things that I love most about Joburg. There is simply nothing better than browsing through various stores stocking everything from heavenly food to gorgeous homeware – and you are always guaranteed to find s... Funky retro furniture – well priced too!    

  Oh my word, but I am so in love with the Green Grass Design Shop! I stumbled across it quite by accident while hunting for some fab ice-cream that is apparently sold along 4th Avenue in Parkhurst (according to one of my readers) and cannot believe that it has not been on my radar... Heads up, people – new favourite store!    

  I am just so excited about where fashion is headed in this country. You can get beautifully crafted, stylish handbags at prices that aren’t going to break the bank, and in styles that will make you look the part of the in-charge, powerful woman you already are! LouenHide ba... All the glam, none of the bankruptcy!    

  I am so impressed with the direction that local fashion is taking and I absolutely love it, and I think we’ve had a good representation of European fashion for years, but there’s a quality to Chinese and Japanese fashion that I just don’t see in the shops. Hong Kong high fashion hits Hyde Park!    

  I was front and centre when the first Vendange store opened at 44 Stanley in Milpark last year and fell head over heels in love with their entire range of food, wine, olive oil, bread boards, wine crates and décor items. The good news is that this amazing brand has now ope... New Vendange at Design Quarter
