  Over the weekend, my boyfriend and I took a ‘road trip’ to Edenvale. Our mission was simple: scope out a Belgian waffle house we’d heard about on Horwood Street. I was enjoying the scenery of the drive so much that I hardly noticed the unassuming building when my boyfriend pulle... I took a trip to Edenvale … and boy was it worth the drive!    

  One of my fondest childhood memories was Sunday lunch with the family, and more specifically tucking into boerekos prepared lovingly by my Aunt Jessie. Which is why I was thrilled to discover District 6 Eatery, aka D6. D6 – Good old fashioned food like Ouma used to make.
