Nothing makes my day like discovering a factory shop for one of my very favourite fashion outlet stores! I have been a massive fan of Australian brand Cotton On since they arrived on our shores a few years ago, but I always try to keep my visits to their stores to a minimum owing to my fear of bankrupting myself month-on-month (and having to eat nothing but dry Provitas for the rest of my life - seriously, it’s a real concern!) Luckily for my stomach and my wallet I recently discovered the Cotton On factory shop in Pretoria and I can now get my Cotton On fix for much less. Trust me: if you’re a huge fan of the Australian brand then you have to pay a visit to this super awesome spot soon.
Located at Atterbury Value Mart, Faerie Glen the Cotton On factory shop makes shopping for basics so much more affordable. I absolutely love the quality of Cotton On’s clothing so for me the factory shop prices are a steal of note! We all know Cotton On for their super awesome package deals (two graphic tees for R250, two pairs of shorts for R300, two tank tops for R150) but the Cotton On factory shop takes those package deals to a whole new level by offering even more of them at ridiculous prices. Of course you won’t find the very latest garments in the factory store but you will find loads of awesome end-of-range and end-of-season items on their racks and shelves – from dresses, shoes and shorts to jackets, jeans and underwear you will find it all at greatly reduced prices at the Cotton On factory store.
The store is quite large so make sure you give yourself enough time to browse the whole place (trust me there is so much to see and browse through!) One thing that struck me about this factory store is that the store is just as neat and tidy as regular Cotton On stores and the staff are just as helpful. Something to watch out for though is the sneaky corner at the front of the store which seems to feature some new stock at regular prices, so make sure you don’t get caught out by that! But besides this section I spotted some fabulous deals – like T-shirts for just R25, tracksuit pants for R90, sun dresses for R100, skirts for R50 and pretty panties at 4 for R100!
This store might not be in Joburg but trust me it is worth the drive to get there! Just make sure you take loads of cash with you as Atterbury Value Mart is chockfull of factory stores and other fabulous places to shop.
