I’m not sure about you … but I’m already counting down the days until the new season! Don’t get me wrong, I love curling up under the blanket with a cup of hot chocolate and a good book during the chilly winter months (I’m sure many of you feel the same way), but let’s be honest, nothing could beat the vibrancy and the energy of spring and summer! And now, thanks to LCN, my look reflects that!
With every change in season comes an awesome new range of makeup. (I don’t know about you, Darlings, but the sound of that just brightens my day!) My favourite range at the moment is LCN’s Spring/Summer collection … why, you ask? Because I’m all pumped up and ready for the coming months (as I’m sure you’ve noticed) and the colours and products in their new range completely match my mood!
Nails:
We all know that nothing says love like showing your nails a little TLC. (Well, that’s how I spell love anyway.) That’s why I’m positively in love with three shades from LCN – Follow Me Into The Deep, He Said ‘Baile Conmigo’, and LCN’s Grand Jubilee Edition nail polish. The first two shades (both blue) scream summer and the sea and will cost you R170 each! The GJE shade is reflective-effect nail polish and is absolutely gorgeous – it shimmers in different colours depending on the light! Plus, it comes with a heart pendant as part of LCN’s 30-year anniversary (R350). Just splash on two coats (see what I did there?) and you’re good to go!
Lips:
Now this is where you really get to embrace the vibrancy of the warmer seasons! LCN’s Underwater Thrill is an orangey shade and goes on just like a shiny lipgloss, whereas their Mermaid Love shade is an intense red, and goes on more like a lipstick. Either one is great for the summer season and will cost you about R315 each.
Body:
One of things I love about summer is the need to use deliciously, fruity-scented products. (Hands up if you agree!) LCN’s Hand & Body Sorbet is great for keeping your hands moisturised while adding that amazing scent. Personally, I love their fresh PomeGranate and juicy WaterMelon sorbets – the latter of which has a far less intense scent to it. They cost you R220 each.
