Darlings, I have no idea if I should let the cat out of the bag yet but... I can't keep it in any longer. This is a little post to say thank you for all your support and helping us to win the Best Of Joburg 2017.
This morning I received a Facebook message from the lads and ladies who host the Best Of Joburg awards, congratulating Joburg's Darling on winning the Best Of Joburg... for the fourth year in a row! How cool is that? I am over the moon about this.
With that said, I don't write these blog posts for the fame or the accolades but because I have a passion for the lovely ladies of the greatest city in the world (yes, I can say that with confidence because I've been to London, New York City and Copenhagen and none of them come close to us).
We are on the cutting edge of what's hot and happening in Africa. Us Jozi girls know how to doll it up. From Soweto to Sandhurst, we're a unique and proud breed. It'd be silly of me to say that "I" won this award - WE did. Yes, you're with me on this one. I'd be a lonely little girl without my dear darlings. Let's stop there before I get all emotional and ruin my eyeliner. speaking of which, there's a blog post dropping later this week about the most divine eyeliner I've stumbled upon by complete chance.
So, this is a quick post just to thank you for your support. On that note, we're kicking it up a notch and planning to do more blog posts - at least five a week - so get ready for a fun-filled trip. Now, let's open a bottle or three of Dom Perignon and dance around the house in our slippers. We are classy, after all.
