I’m not one of those girls with a beauty routine – I don’t have 10 different products on my bathroom shelf and I certainly don’t have time to waste slathering on cream after cream 10 times a day – my motto when it comes to make up and beauty products is: ‘less is more.’ But a month ago I decided to go out on a limb and spend some time and effort putting a new brand to the test – mostly because my curiosity got the best of me and I loved the ‘No Nasties’ ethos of the brand.

So here I am a few weeks later singing the praises of UK brand Mama Mio and here’s why:

Firstly, their product names are just so damn cute! With names like Get Waisted, Boob Tube, Eye Know and Lucky Legs how can you not try it? But the cutesy names aren’t all they have going for them, the products are pretty impressive too (huge sigh of relief). Mama Mio was created by three women who found that their own skin care needs and challenges during and after pregnancy were not being met by existing brands on the market.

Now, what started out as primarily a pregnancy brand has become something of a phenomenon amongst women in all stages of their lives. From stretch mark and cellulite creams to body toning and facial creams, Mama Mio has something for every niggly bit on your body. I also loved that the brand is cheeky and fun – the packaging is super cute and isn’t covered in scientific jargon that no one understands. Instead they break it down for you in fun and easy-to-understand language and tell you exactly what’s in the product and how it works.

Mama Mio encourages you to use their products religiously for 30 days (no cheating) to achieve the best results and that’s just what I did. I tried Boob Tube (a bust and neck firmer) and Get Waisted (a body shaper aimed at tightening and firming the tummy). I massaged each cream onto the target area once a day and I must say I was quite pleased with the results. The skin on my chest and neck got noticeably firmer and felt like it was in a better condition, and the same went for my tummy and waist area!

These products are not a miracle cure but you will notice that your skin will look firmer, fitter and more glowing in quite a short period of time. I also loved that the products can be used on other areas of your body to tighten and firm skin – for example Get Waisted also works for arm, legs, butts, or anywhere you need a little bit of tightening up! These are definitely products I will keep using – especially since it only takes a few seconds to apply after a shower, keeping my no-fuss beauty routine intact.

Mama Mio is available at various Spas throughout Gauteng – click here for a full list of stockists.

Win!

One lucky Joburg’s Darling reader stands the chance to win a bottle of Just Waisted to try at home! Read a full list of competition rules.

Lutfhi You could easily add a Text ptreproy to the control, sure. I would add a Label control positioned relative to the image button, setting the target control Id = the image button's ID. This way the lable will act like a true form label, similar to how ASP.NET renders a true asp:CheckBox control. As far as setting the 3-way state using a nullable boolean value, that should be easy as well. Something like this should suffice; (where myBitField is a nullable boolean, (bool? myBitField)):myCheckBox.Checked = myBitField == null ? CheckedState.Blank : myBitField.Value ? CheckedState.Checked : CheckedState.Unchecked; And then just reversing that the other way to get the value back out. You could also scrap the enumeration and simply use a Nullable ptreproy instead, blank = null, checked = true, unchecked = false. It should be fairly simple to switch the binding from the enumeration with the hidden field (which can have a blank string as its value anyway). Thanks,Chad
