Darlings I got to take part in a fun blogger challenge with Johnson Tiles recently and I can’t wait to tell you all about it! The local tile manufacturer recently introduced its Fusion range of inkjet ceramic tiles featuring a range of fabulous new tiles inspired by the South African landscape! So, in keeping with the local is lekker theme I was challenged to submit a nature-inspired photo to their product designer who came back with a tile design based on my picture!
The new tile range is quite something as nature inspired images and designs are printed onto tiles with the help of a big inkjet printer – call me a home decor geek but I’m getting excited just imagining the possibilities this opens up for home decor and design. The new Fusion range imitates stone, wood and concrete and brings a natural look and feel to any space in the home, whether the bathroom, kitchen or patio and I love the idea that you can now get a super awesome wood finish look in your bathroom, kitchen or outside without having to actually use wood!
I submited a picture of a beautiful fig tree that I found on my Joburg’s Darling travels and thought its wood would make for a stunning tile design. Take a look at the picture below and then scope out my tile design next to it.
But wait there’s more! The lovelies over at Johnson Tiles have also given me a R1000 Cape Union Mart voucher to give away to one lucky Darling! To enter simply email your name and contact number with the subject line “Johnson Tiles Competition” to before 12:00 on Friday 21 November.
