If there’s one part of my body that gets a serious beating it is my hands! I try not to be, but most days I am so rough on them – especially when I’m having a super busy day. My nails usually get the worst of it and it’s not uncommon to see my nails chipped and torn in weird and not-so-fun places. But it’s not all doom and gloom I do make sure that I have endless supplies of hand cream at my disposal to apply whenever my hands are looking a little dreary (seriously I keep hand cream everywhere –my desk, my car, my handbag – everywhere!) But, even with all the compulsive hand cream use every now and then I still feel like my hands need a serious pick-me-up. Which is where today’s find comes in – I’ve finally found a saviour for my hands in the form of Filorga Hand-Filler Anti-Aging Mask For Hands and Nails! It really is a hero product of note!

So before I tell you all about the brilliance of this product I thought it best to give you the low-down on the company that manufactures it. Filorga is a rather innovative beauty and skincare brand from Paris that specialises in anti-aging products and treatments. The brand takes its inspiration from the field of Aesthetic medicine and so offers products for home-care as well as for professional salons, spas and medical centres. Their range includes everything from serums and masks to body balms and scrubs to make sure your skin is looking young and healthy all day.

But back to the miracle gloves! When I first received this product I thought it looked a bit odd – the black and white packaging is quite simple and the only details on the front are the name (Hand-Filler – anti-aging mask for hands and nails) and a tiny picture of a pair of gloves. I wasn’t sure what to expect when opening the packet but when I did I was even more confused – inside the packet was nothing more than a pair of black material gloves. There was no serum or gel to squeeze inside them and I started to think that my packet was a dud. So I read the rather complicated instructions; “clean hands thoroughly with soap and wear gloves for 30 minutes.” Surely this product couldn’t be that simple? So I then I did what every other confused person would do at this stage – I smelled the gloves. To my surprise they actually smelled beautiful – a sort of musky, earthy smell and finally I realised that the gloves were infused with the product that was apparently going to do wonders for my hands.

So I put them on for 30 minutes and proceeded to watch TV (without touching anything because I was a little paranoid that something would happen if I did) and after 30 minutes I took them off only to reveal my beautifully transformed baby soft hands! I was amazed and quickly read the instruction booklet that came inside the packet for more information. I found out that the gloves actually diffuse the unique anti-aging ingredients while you wear them in order to give your hands a rejuvenating treatment. I was also impressed to read that you can use the same pair of gloves for up to 15 treatments! So I used them again when I was having a seriously bad nail week and my hands and nails were feeling incredibly tired and once again I got the most amazing results. My hands felt soft, smooth and like that had just gotten a serious injection of moisture. My nails also looked a million times better. I’ve only used them twice now but Filorga claims that regular use of once a week for four weeks will help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and dark spots and make hands look and feel younger (sounds good to me!)

So how does it work exactly? The Filorga Hand-filler gloves are filled with hyaluronic acid and other density-boosting active ingredients that have a plumping action and help restore the skin’s volume and smooth the backs of hands. What’s more the wheat extract in the gloves regulates melanin synthesis and reduces the development of dark spots while added vitamins and minerals help strengthen nails and increases their growth potential. Like I said; they are miracle gloves!
