Happy Monday, Darlings! Yes, another weekend has come and gone ... but more importantly - another season has come and gone too! Now I don't know about you but, personally, I love spring. Why? Well because it’s the season for dresses, sandals and, of course, bright and beautiful nails!
I'd like to think that there's no better way to celebrate the season of new beginnings than to try out a few gorgeous new shades of nail polish (not that we need an excuse to buy polish, am I right?). Here's my pick of the best shades to get your nails spring-ready:
1. Sun Is Smiling From Essence
Yellow is the colour of happiness (well it’s my colour of happiness!) ... that's why I adore this shade from essence's 'The Pastels' range. It’s bright and beautiful, and it goes on really well – I like to add two coats for good measure. Finish off with a top coat and you've got nails that are sure to stand out!
2. Mojito Madness From HEAN Pl.
This muted green shade is subtle yet sweet and is a great reflection of the spring season (and perhaps summer too – don't you just love the name?!). One coat may look a bit too thin though so I would suggest applying two coats to get that real pop of colour.
3. Amor Is My Middle Name From LCN
I recently got the chance to try out a whole range of beauty products from LCN ... and that's when I fell completely in love with this shade! It is by no means subtle (I'm sure you can tell that I love bright shades), but the colour has got a simplicity to it. Two coats and you're ready to paint the town red! (I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist.)
4. Ordinary Misfit From HEAN Pl.
Yes, I've already featured one HEAN shade on this list but both colours are so stunning and I just couldn't choose between the two! This shade by HEAN is a pastel, pretty pink (personally, I believe every girl should own a shade like this). It's simple but it adds a sweet and feminine touch to your nails.
5. Manga-Round With Me From Morgan Taylor
This shade from Morgan Taylor is a brighter pink than the one from HEAN – think feminine but with a slight neon glow. (Again, I just love the name!) It also gives off a shiny finish … though it doesn’t hurt to add a top coat to protect against chipping. This is definitely one of those ‘notice me’ shades.
