This week is almost over ... you know what that means – two days of rest and relaxation, with just a dash (or more) of fun and excitement! Speaking of something exciting, have you visited Cadbury’s World of Marvellous Creations pop-up store in Sandton City yet? If you’re a chocoholic (like me, I’m both proud and sad to say), then you definitely don’t want to miss out on this!
One slab of Cadbury’s new Marvellous Creations range (R29,99), which you can buy at the pop-up store or at any retail outlet, allows you access for two people (so if this was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the slab would be your golden ticket)! Since no chocolatey treat should be enjoyed alone, I dragged my fiancé Brenden along with me (not that he had any objections).
There … you get to create your very own tasty treat by following the Candy Trail (in other words – you’re Dorothy and the trail is your yellow brick road). Ok, pause – I know I should stop with all these analogies but I’m having too much fun! Back to the story … once inside, you get to pick three delicious toppings for your treat – I went with Astros, bits of Oreo and choc mint sprinkles; Brenden had the same but opted for jelly popping candy as opposed to Astros.
Then, you get to pick between three delicious bases for your treat – we both went with the chocolate slab – talk about a chocolate overload (ok, who am I kidding … there’s no such thing as a chocolate overload)! Someone will help you put your treat together and, to finish it off – a dash of pink or blue icing is placed on the corners.
To make this memory last forever, you can also get your marvellous family portrait taken, share it via Instagram or Twitter with the hash tag #MarvellousCreations ... and they will print it for you at the pop-up store! But ... you need to scoot on over to Sandton City as soon as possible because the store closes on 19 July 2015.
Say Hi to Cadbury on .
