Great news Darlings the day to launch our fabulous Mango competition has finally arrived! Mango is hosting an incredible shopper event at their Eastagte store and they've invited me to come along and bring a few Joburg's Darling readers with me (eep!) Keep reading to see how you can crack the nod to the Mango My Style event next week, Thursday 13 November!

The Mango My Style event at Eastgate will see some of Mango's most loyal shoppers and Joburg's Darling readers gather for a night of fashion, food and discounts! Guests will be treated to an exclusive interactive style talk and shopping session by Mango's awesome brand manager. I will also be speaking on the night and giving you some awesome tips on how to interpret this season's hottest trends. Each guest will also be treated to delicious snacks, drinks and the chance to win a R1000 Mango shopping voucher on the night!

If you'd love to join me on the night then pop me an email at crystal@velocitymedia.co.za with the subject line 'Mango Eastage Comp' and tell me why you would LOVE to attend next week Thursday night. I have space for four readers and a friend to join me on the night as well as a R500 Mango voucher to giveaway to the reader who gives the best reason for wanting to attend! Competition closes Friday 7 November at 17:00.

And, just in case you forgot about my fab blog styling post with Mango last week here is a reminder! As you know I don’t do to many ‘what I wore’ type posts on the blog but I was recently approached by Mango to take part in their exciting summer campaign and then they mentioned that there would be some amazing prizes in it for all my loyal Darlings and so there was no way I couldn’t do it! Right? The brief was pretty simple I had to take two items from the Mango’s spring/ summer 2014 collection and incorporate them into my own wardrobe – styling them as I wished. So, without further adieu here is my diary of a weekend spent decked out in Mango’s awesome new collection.

Friday Night – after work drinks with friends:

After a long day on the road doing reviews for Joburg’s Darling it was finally time to relax and unwind. Some friends and I headed to the oh-so-awesome Society Eatery and Craft Bar in Magaliesig for drinks. Society is well known for its fabulous selection of craft beer and their sharing boards. Because the weather was turning I decided to pair Mangos’ white, sleeveless blouse with midriff tie detail with a pair of black skinny jeans, lace sneakers and chunky gold accessories. The outfit was perfect for the laid back drinks spot. And, if you haven’t been to Society yet then I suggest you pop in soon! When I paid a visit on Friday I had the Fiery Ginger Beer (which is amazing!) and snacked on their delicious Zuccini Fries, Bitterballen and Mini Riblets with my friends.

Saturday Morning – Brunch with the girls:

On Saturday morning it was time to head to Belle’s Patisserie with the girls to sample their brand new ‘Skinny Menu’. The menu offers delicious meals and treats for Banters, Paleo fans and those who are looking for gluten-free, sugar-free and dairy-free meals. For this occasion I decided to don Mango’s beautiful blue full-length boho-inspired dress. I absolutely love this dress as it’s got pockets and is made from a really fabulous light and sheer material. I paired it with Grecian inspired sandals and then dropped the waist with a silver belt. As for the Belle’s ‘Skinny Menu’ it is definitely a must try if you’re always looking for healthier options at restaurants. And, a tip – the Paleo Grain-free bread and Kale Pesto are to die for!
